As of 31 December 2014, SOFTIP employed a total of 171 employees, 65 of whom were women, representing 40% of the total number of employees, the same as in the previous year.
In 2015 a natural process of emplyoees structure changing was carried out again. The aim was to meet company´s strategic objective and new competencies. As for the year-to-year comparison there was a temporary decrease of number of employees by 5.
Except for standard education activities related to the legislation changes, certification trainings, workshops and conferencies in 2015, our main objective was the support of development and education of technical stuff from respective organisational departments. Our employees were granted a number of new certificates concerning the area of Microsoft, Oracle and SAP products. The company SOFTIP is proud of having the largest amount of SAP certified consultants in Slovakia. We improved our knowledge and skills with the development of a new competency in the area of unmanned aerial landscape imaging and monitoring. After having obtained the status of a Microsoft Silver Cloud Productivity Partner we took only six months to get another one, becoming a Microsoft Gold Cloud Productivity Partner.
We also continued developing the sales skills of our sales managers and we arranged a training for analysts and programmers to improve their presentation and communication skills.
In the area of project development we improved the professional preparation of project managers. It was aimed at the internal project methodology which was adapted to the company´s conditions and the general preparation in the management area.
Within the rules for utilising the social fund and providing employee benefits, the company continued, just as in past years, to provide employees with the option of fully paid sick time, supplemental pension insurance contributions, above-standard preventative health exams, contributions for the birth of a child, awards for important anniversaries both at home and at work and more. The company spent a total of EUR 117 thousand on benefits, primarily from the social fund, which the company generates in the form of a 1% contribution from gross company payroll. The most significant line item funded from the social fund was the contribution for meal tickets above the framework defined by law; the company also increased this benefit by an additional 30 cents at the beginning of 2015, thereby decreasing the cost of meal tickets to employees.
Employee performance review was completed in the personal development and employee performance management system in addition to 360-degree performance review of management staff.
As for the evaluation of its employees the company uses the SOFTIP HAPPY HR web application, which is a news in the company portoflio. The application has been implemented only within our organisation at the beginning of 2016. In the first stage the module Organisation and personnel portal named Happy People have been launched in order to simplify the HR orientation for employees, managers and also for HR employees. The application allows holidays approval directly via mobile, personal remote data update or employees´ orientation within the organisational structure, as well as within the specific responsibilities and competencies related to different roles in the company.
Pursuant to company policy, we strengthened the trust between employees, management and shareholders at a company-wide summer meeting at the Tatralandia resort and the year-end employee meeting held in Tále. We continue to resolve employee suggestions and recognise those celebrating special anniversaries. The company also regularly determines top performing employees in specific positions. We conducted a review of employee satisfaction in 2015 with the goal of determining employee opinions and stances towards the company and fulfilling one of the points of the company's policy to be an attractive and sought-after employer.
